Re:         Registration of All Members – Registration for Repatriation

Preamble “We, the Black Peoples of the World, In order to effect Unity, Solidarity, Liberty, Freedom and Self-determination, to secure Justice and maintain the Integrity of Ethiopia, which is our Divine Heritage, do hereby establish and ordain this Constitution for The Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated.”

We greet all present and prospective members of the Ethiopian World Federation, Inc. in the Love and Light of our Creator who has provided for us a foundation to claim our Divine Heritage and protect our integrity and sovereignty as a peoples. We give thanks and praise.

At a meeting of the International Executive Council held on April 17, 2012, the following Resolution was ratified:

RESOLVED: That the Executive Council of the Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated send a Directive to the Worldwide Membership to submit to the Executive Council a completed membership form which will serve as an updated registration of each member on the records of the Headquarters in New York. Members may elect to submit their $1.00 application fee as a confirmation of membership, as well as their annual membership dues of $5.20 (US 10 cents per week) if they have not paid their dues to their Locals or if their Locals have not turned over those dues and application fees in the Monthly Report to the Headquarters.

Bearing in mind that the EWF, Inc. is a membership organization for ALL THE BLACK PEOPLES OF THE WORLD, we at Headquarters are creating a Registry of all members. This has become necessary because over the years some some administrations have not turned over documents to new Executive Councils; as well, some Locals have been misled by other members fraudulently claiming to be the Executive Council / Headquarters and some Locals have not sent in the required Monthly Reports to Headquarters.

Monthly Reports include all new member applications with the application fee of $1 and weekly membership dues of 10c per week or $5.20 per year– among other agreed on subscriptions and donations to Headquarters’ national and international projects.

This is also a call to ALL THE BLACK PEOPLES OF THE WORLD who are not yet members of the Ethiopian World Federation, Inc. to submit the form as an Application for Membership even if there isn’t a Local in your area. The Executive Council will assign you to the nearest functioning Local or bring you and others in your area together to set up a new Local. A complete copy of the Constitution and By-Laws is attached.

Please email or call to request the revised membership application form. We encourage you as a person of African ancestry to register yourself with the Headquarters and engage your constitutional duties to be of service to your fellow man, support your organization and qualify yourself for the benefits of membership.

This registration prepares the worldwide body for the new secure Identification system of the EWF, Inc. and is a first step in preparation of an orderly Registration for Repatriation to the Motherland of the Sons and Daughters of African Slaves which has been long overdue. This was a responsibility given to our organization by Ras Tafari, His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Haile Selassie I.  We must rise up to our duties.

It also gives all members the opportunity to be counted and qualified for nomination as International Officers at the upcoming Annual Convention (beginning July 16, 2012 in New York City) and to participate in International Committees including representation at the United Nations and other national and international agencies. We need members to represent the organization at the highest levels of government.

We do not expect that all members will have an interest in Repatriation. The EWF, Inc. is mandated to protect the welfare of members in the Diaspora and on the Continent as well as the entire human family by providing charitable services for those in need. Several forms are available for Locals to help in the recording of their day to day activities. If your Local doesn’t have these forms, please request from HQ.

ALL THE BLACK PEOPLES OF THE WORLD are entitled to Membership in the Ethiopian World Federation, Inc. Together, we can form a strong federation to achieve the lofty Aims and Objects as defined in and guided by the Constitution and By-Laws.  May God bless us in achieving our aims and objects.

Moody, Ambrose King (Ras Tages) to meet with government authorities to address matters affecting repatriating residents and the Land Grant, and break ground for the Vocational Training Institute.

In keeping with the Constitutional mandate to preserve ancient Ethiopian traditions and our Divine Heritage, the Executive Council recently sent a directive encouraging the membership to make donations and engage in a fund-raising drive to help build a new Temple for the Ark of the Covenant in Aksum after the Headquarters received a messenger from the Guardian Monk. He informed us that the present Temple is in need of repairs because the roof is leaking. A new temple is being built to house the Ark while the old Temple is built.

Email rassadiki@gmail.com for updates on the project.  Africa’s Future Corp. is the organization set up by Ras Sadiki-I in the United States to collect the funds. The names of those making a donation will be submitted to the Guardian Monk for special prayers before the Ark of the Covenant.  Ras Sadiki-I went through a special spiritual journey before being baptized by the Guardian Monk himself, a historical event in the history of the Ark of the Covenant. A video of his journey is available and he is available to make a presentation to your organization.
